found a bunch of these behind powerhead when I was cleaning today. Here's a short video of this one moving

please tell me they are safe and easy to get rid of. =) I have no idea what is it or how I got so many as I dip everything going in the tank

yes, it is a type of worm! bristleworm. desirable clean up crew for some. painfully disturbing to have/look at for others. do not touch it without thick gloves as they have spines!

aren't there a couple different kinds of bristle worms? You sure these are the ones that sting? doesn't look like the fireworm bristle

bristle worms still have bristles :). may not have the same effect as fire worms, however.
