I've just recently started getting into sticks, and maaaaaan, do I ever want a pink lemonade.

I love that coral, but mine grows about 5mm a year (yes, that is millimeters). It has to be my slowest growing SPS. On the plus side, it has survived multiple moves and tank crashes where most other SPS died.

Mine started of as a 1/2" frag 16 month ago and barely did anything but encrust a little in 1 year. In the past 3 months its exploded with new growth. I feel its a great frag being I added it to a 2 month old sterile tank with dryrock and it stuck around for all the ups and down and took of when it was ready. Fast grower for sure once it gets going

I’ve had mine for over a year. Good color, good PE, but zero growth. Maybe a small amount of encrusting in the first two months then nothing. Slowest growing acro I have by a mile.

Is it getting much flow? My pink lemonade grew toward the flow so I assume they love it. It's the top left in the picture.

I had the same experience. Almost no growth in the first 1+ year, then it started growing like crazy.

It’s getting good flow and middle up under a 4 bulb ATI. It’s a 36” 35 gallon tank with 3 MP10’s.

So I dug through my picture archives and before my acro crash of 11/2017 I was pretty good at cataloging with pictures. I need to start doing that again. Anyways, my Pink Lemonade was one of my few acros that survived the crash. Here's some progression pics. I apologize for the jump in time with the last two photos, but you get the general idea. Once it starts growing, it doesn't stop!

Ugly pic, back in my bubble algae days! Look at that little whipper snapper! Point of fact, this was also just before I switched from Radion G3 LED to ATI T5.

Poopy iPhone pic, but you get the idea. Growth explosion! Note: I've fragged this several times also.

How is it looking now?

I agree, Pink Lemonade is slow to get going for me too.

I received a frag from Bubbaque in October of 18. In March of 20, it finally stopped encrusting and started sending up spires.

As it grew, I split the frag into two spots (underlined in white in the picture below). One is basically stalled and the other is finally done encrusting. The picture is from mid April. The encrusted one has grown more since then and seems to be picking up speed. Can't wait for a colony.

Well I had to move so tank was broken down and I have a frag that is regrowing out. I probably will revisit my growth threads when I get things going in my display again.
