thats cool i gotta find this article where a guy have 7 sumps and one of the sumps was full of xenia! he used it bc it eats TONS of nutrients
 
I Just wish there were some pics of the system somewhere. It is way easier for me to understand if I have something to look at.

From what I have found, the more nutrients that I take from the tank the fast the SPS grows. But, the growth of zoanthids, palys and other soft coral seem slow down. I know that SPS do well in clean water an zoas/palys in not so clean of water.. My question is, where ia a happy medium? There is now way that I know of to measure the "nutrients" in the water.
 
im pretty sure tyree keeps the actual system design tighty guarded. Kinda like ORA.

tell enough so people can try it, but not enough to perfect it...
 
I'd like to see it as well see if im close on my system it works well gota get the heat thing fixed before next summer though lol.
