Hey Fellas,

Just wanted to show you how the UC Acro Insignis I purchased has come along. The pic doesn't show it but the body has a deep purple (not blue like in the pic). The pic was taken with a nano scope.

It's really branching out in the last few weeks. Thanks for a great piece.

Thats a nice piece. Thanks for the pic.

Nice man! I've always loved seeing that piece on their site. Glad to see the person who bought it sharing pics of it!

Wow, Nick...I'm actually jealous! It looks even nicer than it does in our systems! (Well, I guess it's supposed to, right? LOL).

Beautiful job on a truly great-looking coral!

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Scott. You guys sell top quality coral and big pieces so they take off much faster than small frags. I just wish I could capture the true base color with the camera. It's a deep translucent purple. Really different color. I'll try to put up a pic of the UC Strawberry Shortcake og

Thanks again for the kind words....Yeah, it's tough to get really accurate colors on many of the Acropora...some have a sort of translucent quality that reflects flash or brings out highlights that are not really apparent to the naked eye, which can be misleading! Joe works very hard on perfecting his photo skills to make sure that we have the most accurate photos possible, but perfection is evasive!

Would love to see your OG SS pics!
