Here is a little growth progession thread and the history of the uc solar system to the jf biohazard. Sorry for the bad pics in the beggining my photos skills have gotten a little better along with my camera.

I purchased this frag from vince awhile back from uc.

Here was the mother of the uc solar system (uc's picture)

Well a several months later here is a pic of the chalice under diy led lighting

Well about a year and 1/2 later and a move to a new tank under a Ati powermodule
The chalice changed it appearance along with its name. I learned from vince of coral theory now that the chalice has now been dubbed biohazard.
A fitting name to its new look.

when that colony came in it looked exactly like the pic Vince originally posted on UC website, maybe super low light would bring out the different colored eyes

Looks nothing like the pic from UC but a beauty for sure!! And tremendous growth!!
Thank you!

I was thinking the same thing. I am in the process of a tank upgrade that will give me some more space to play with placement so maybe make a frag and try it in a very low light area.
What in the heck are you feeding that thing!!!...?
LOL, I just use rod's food as far as feeding goes :)

Just saw your thread Jared. That chalice is a beast. I have seen it in person and while the OP says his camera skills have improved I can say this chalice looks much better in person. The different colors in the eyes are much more visible in person aswell. Nice piece bud.
