Ugly (algae?) just sprung up

So I got this Fluval Evo 13.5 about a month ago and everything was great. Now it’s being overrun by this possibly algae that breaks apart and spreads when touched. It doesn’t appear to be harmful but its not extremely appealing.
So 1 what is it? And 2 how do I dispose of it?

I'm pretty fresh to saltwater too, but I believe that's green hair algae, which is part of the "ugly" phase of marine cycling.
