5 month old tank. 180 gallon with 40 gallon breeder sump. Dry rock, dry sand, parameters stable (Alk: 8.4, Calc: 430, Mag: 1400, Nitrate: 10, Phosphate: .03). Brown, red, purple web on sand. I think it is pretty much your run-of-the-mill ugly phase, but here is my questions. Should I:
- Just let it be and run its course
- Stir it up and release into the water column and let the filter socks do their thing
- Vacuum it out
- Some other option I'm not considering.
