I know that I'm still in the ugly stages, as the tank is only about 2.5 months old. I had a really bad dino outbreak in my old tank, though, and want to make sure that I'm not getting the same thing in this one (and if I am, I want to beat it while it's still early).

The cheap little microscope that I have shows just little tiny dots on the rocks (I may have seen a dino or two floating around), but they are probably 5-10x smaller than what I saw when I had the bad dino outbreak in the other tank.

Anybody have any thoughts? It's starting to really take over the entire sand bed. For comparison, here are the organisms that I'm dealing with now (smaller) vs the dinos that I battled many months back (larger). Same zoom level.

Bumping again - these are just getting worse and worse, and they are bubbling like dinos. Just still doesn't look like dinos to me under the scope.
