Since when is a 1.5 - 2 inch frag a mini -colony??? This is AquaSD.

Lol, stupidness has reached new heights!

This just reinforces why I don’t buy from vendors anymore.

Yea mini colony? Thats really pathetic.
Nice looking color though.
I dont have alot of higher end corals and have never bought online.
Have been thinking of a battle box.
I do have a couple colonys I grew from frags. They are the size of baesballs.
Got a couple nice large frags, they would be large colonies by those standards, this weekend from some new wild colonies.
My walt disney was the size of a pencil eraser and is the highest dollar frag I have.
5 months later its the size of a silver dollar.

Thing is, it’s just a red planet, an easy old school coral...

I'm one of those that think this is in line with the designer names... just stupid....
Im just getting back in the hobby after being out for 10 plus years... things like torch coral that I used to buy for $5 a head, frags that had multiple branches and full encrustation, and local reefers swapping regularly without expecting high $$s are a thing of the past..
Now if I call it a JB extra special purple haze universe splitter my zoas sell for 50 a polyp... its all INSANE...

Yeah it's sad how the English language gets butchered in an attempt... Well I don't even know any more what ppl are attempting when they use words wrong lol

The one you screen shot is the medium 3/4" size I believe for $50.

How much is @AquaSD selling the actual mini colony @ 1.5-2" inches for?

I see reefers and vendors selling 1 inch frags for triple or double that price of the medium. Not saying I agree or would pay it. Just saying what you posted seems lower than going price across the board?

The “mini colony” is $89. Doesn’t matter how much. A one inch frag even 2 inch isn’t
a mini colony.

Ok your original post kinda threw me off.
That being said and you can research my history and see how much I agree with anything which is pretty much nothing lol.
And again not saying I agree with pricing or would even buy it.
But all things considered with what your seeing on pricing across the board.
Would you not say that these prices are fair if not well priced below current market value with all other sales and prices considered?

I would consider reaching out to them maybe? Since red planet tables they can be a challenge to cut tall frags but instead you may get a mini chunk of the table.
Its kind of hard to describe frag/ coral size sometimes if you're cutting to order which is why when I shop I only buy WYSIWYG

I don’t want it, I already have a red planet from another hobbyist that was $20. Regardless a 1.5-2 inch wide frag is NOT a mini colony...
