Sometimes snail eggs can look wormlike - but this looks rather _too_ wormlike.

It doesn't look like a bristle worm, though, and I fear you may have a Eunicid worm in there - a "Bobbit worm". If that's what it is, they're fairly predatory . . .

Well, whatever it was, I sucked it up with a turkey baster. It was dark green and segmented.
