I am not sure if they would survive, but if they did they would likely have a shorter lifespan than normal. For example, snails and fish are often collected from Southern California where the climate is not tropical and is normally cooler than the typical home reef temperature. These organisms tend to not live as long as their tropical counterparts. Margarita snails are an example, they are better suited for a temperate tank and do not live that long in reef aquaria. West England is considered temperate for the most part, but is usually much cooler than even California.I was wondering because where I go in Cornwall in the summer there is always lots of hermits running around the sand and it's obviously in the warm shallows and they must be used to huge tempreture swings we have especially in the west country
