Hi there I just like to know what is the long slime stuff that grows within a few hours after dosing nopox ? Even dosing 0.25 of a ml that has been mixed 50/50 with rodi seems to acivate the slime on the sand !

Should I be worried about it and does this mean I simply dont need to carbon dose my tank ?
I read some where that its best to find a maintaining dose rather than completey stopping the nopox because there is a chance the bactera could die off !
What should I do ?
Thanks

Yea. It's bacteria. If you're not having nutrient probs. I wouldn't use it.

IMO. You can just stop. It'll still be in the system.

The Bactria won't die off. There's probably plenty to eat. Esp if you have fish and corals you feed.
