Im gathering supplies to build a QT tank, that will be used for breeding clowns when the QT is done. Had some thoughts like gyre flow + rollermat for ammonia control etc, so i used my elite paint skills to mock something up. Im sure everybody has ideas on the ideal tank so i would like to gather some and make something epic. Ive have acces to every tool imaginable including a laser cutter and 3D printer so nothing is too crazy ;Happy

So far ive come up with the following extra's:
-Removable dividers with integrated weirs to allow with one gyre through the entire tank, picking up everything from the bottom.
-HOB filter for biological filtration sponge
-Drain for easier cleaning
-External rollermat for ammonia control
-Seneye for ammonia monitoring
-Auto water change

Anything is should add/change to make it work better in any way?

For breeding purposes, I think that will be fine. For a quarantine system it needs to be simpler though. Anything that can trap parasites or cysts shouldn't be in a quarantine. So filter floss, sponges, substrate (anything porous) should be left out. I know that's not as fun, sorry :)

Yes, good point, but that's why I choose a hob filter, so I can simply take it off ;Happy
From what I understand a sponge can be used during qt to aid with ammonia control. I've seen multiple guides where they advise to always have some sponges in the DT to add to the QT when needed?

No substrate offcourse, and the rollermat can be external so it can be disconnected and cleaned easily.
