Some feed multiple times a day. Some once or twice a day. Then there are some that only feed once or maybe twice a week. I know that how often a fish eats depend on the fish but don't reef fishes eat at every opportunity they get? So why is it acceptable to feed only once a week for the sake of keeping nutrients down but everyone will jump on someone immediately for having 1 too many fish or for keeping a hippo in a 120 cause the tank is still way too small?

It is *not* acceptable to feed once a week.

Even small tangs and springeri damels and six lines patrolling frag tanks get fed more than that.

People who "limit nutrients" need to find a better way to remove nutrients after the fact rather than starving their fish.

Another note is the fact that many people recommend "more fish poop" as the preferred method of feeding their corals.
