Thanks man I appreciate it. For some reason when I take photos off iPhone with light on it takes them blue. Should I try giving him some Mysis? From the pictures he looks okay. He is going to need to settle back down but he should be okay.
Ok thanks I just don’t want him to nuke everything I have. The temp changes have been weird. I shouldn’t of asked a pal to turn it up for me. The foot is still holding on.Did any other parameters change with the temp increase?
When I first put my RBTA into my tank it disappeared for 5 days. I looked everywhere. I even bought a mirror so I could check the backs of all my rocks. I never saw it, so it must have scrunched up really small to fit in a crack somewhere. On day 5 it popped up and looked awesome. I think just give it some time.
Ammonia is spiking a bit what do you think from photoI don’t pretend to be an anemone expert, however, I totally understand. When I put mine in I was terrified it would nuke the tank... and when I lost it I expected every morning to wake up to cloudy water and dead fish. In my research though I learned signs to be worried about.
1. Foot no longer attached
2. Tentacles no longer sticky
3. Foul smell coming from it
4. When touched disintegration
When an anemone nukes a tank it typically happens when they get stuck in a power head. If they just die they will spike ammonia. Which if your watch can easily be fixed.
