I am normally a pretty patient person but I have to post about my awful experience with Ultragem in Burbank, CA. We designed a custom 150 gallon tank/sump that was supposed to be installed before the holidays in 2018. I paid my payments as agreed upon without fail. This tank is costing me over $10k, including installation. The holidays come and go with no tank and hardly any contact from the owner. In early January we finally meet and come up with a plan to install my tank on the weekend of Jan.26. That morning he doesn't show up and doesn't even return a text until hours after the appointment time, saying he had an emergency. He has used this excuse NUMEROUS times in the past when he hasn't delivered what he promised. He has since contacted me promising to "make it right" (again, which he has done many times before). Now I am having to get my attorney involved to try and get my money back, costing me even more money. According to the Yelp reviews, I am not the only person in this situation with this company. I would avoid this place at all costs.
