I went on vacation and returned to an ulva looking type of algae infestation. Some are dark green and others are more on the brown side. The dark green ones can sometimes make lobes filled with air. They’re all over my extensive rockwork and some fronds are covering some of my frags. I can’t seem to find anything that eats it. I have a few small tangs that I thought would go for it but they barely pick at it. Bluelegs haven’t helped and neither have turbo snails. I am considering manual removal but like I said, coverage is extensive. Any ideas? Setting up fuge today with chaeto and dragons tongue to try and outcompete it.

P.S. I will insert some pictures as soon as lights turn on.

Hello,

Just checking to see if you had a chance to get some photos for us.

I'm battling the same issue. So far my long spine urchin is the only thing putting a manageable dent in it. Bought a sea hare but doesn't really seem to eat the stuff. What rocks I can take out I manually scrub of (seems to come off fairly easy). My 3 tangs keep the ulva from getting to large but still the don't pick down to the rock.
