What on earth is a “nem nuke”?

Hope you can save what you have left !!

When a nem dies in your tank and releases all it toxicity and ammonia in your water

Doing a water change won’t raise salinity. That might be what killed the nem tho. U can’t do too many water changes in an emergency situation when you have high ammonia due to a nem nuke. But why so many water changes?? Shoulda just been like one large one, an ammonia remover and then wait and monitor followed by another Small one in a day or 2 after the ammonia was under control.

I did a water change a week before nem nuke a small one and i did a massive one after nem nuke but idk how to lower ammonia or if i should change the water i am conflicted from what i have been told by everyone to touch the water

That’s how you rid your water of ammonia in an emergency situation. It’s a product. You can find it at most LFS/petco/petsmart
