Um... sticky feet-things?

Saw this thing floating around last night. When I saw it again this morning I pulled it out and put it in a small glass. It STICKS. IT GRABS ON. As you can see in the pictures those wormzlike squiggly things are what's holding on. I just cant make out what this thing is. Damaged ball anemone? I'm still learning all the critters.

I think it is a ball anemone. I see little ball tipped tentacles, I believe.
