Looks like a type of star that I've seen for sale, unless it's one of those Hell's Fire Anemone's...... in which case, don't touch it!

Congrats on the good hitchhiker. Maybe several are in some of your LR. It is enjoyable to watch the arms extend out grasping at food bits.
