Unable to add MP40wQD to ecosmartlive

I added a new MP40 to my tank and it's running beautifully quiet. However when I tried to add the pump to my ecosmartlive tank profile. I assume I have to click the Add Devices wirelessly button from the Devices tab but nothing happens.

Any help is appreciated!

First, you do have the ReefLink right? Don't mean any insult, but it is a necessary question.

Moving on from there, I would logout and log back in of ESL and ensure you are not running in "Offline Mode". If you are, you may need to check your ReefLink and make sure it has the blue circle and is online.

If you still cannot add wirelessly, you may have to hard-reset the MP40 and try the steps above again.

I was having a similar issue. I had to factory reset my reef link and update the reef link base to the latest firmware. Works like a champ now.

Yes I have the reeflink

. The problem may be more than just trying to add a new device. I noticed that under the devices section my existing radion and old mp40 are greyed out. This could possibly be an issue with the reeflink? ESL is telling me my reeflink is connected.

I think the best thing to do is to call support in the morning since it might be easier to troubleshoot over the phone.

Same exact issue I was having. I downloaded the newest version of the reef link software to my computer and connected it to the reef link unit. Reset the unit and a firmware update and I have had no problems since. Good luck!!
