Hey all,

I've got a mate that struggles to keep hammers and torches alive. He has tried, branching and wall and both are no good. Tank can keep nems, blastos, acans, leathers and interestingly gonis all fine but hammers eventually wither and die. System has been running for 2-3 years, and has corraline all over.

Dosing RedSea AB+ and Coral Essentials Alk, Cal, Mag + Trace. Feeding is a mix of frozen, pellets and reef roids. WC about 10% weekly.

Here is an FTS and Par map. I think light levels might be slightly low but I'm not sure if that would cause hammers to wither and die.

What do you guys reckon?

Dunno

Mine grow fine

My can't keep corals are elegance and GSP

Moderate light, Moderate flow for my euphyllia. And I feed them. I even dip them and they do fine

Sorry, can't help your buddy

Don’t see any wavemakers in the pic, maybe not enough flow?

waaaaaay tooo early to suggest a bacterial issue, but fwiw I’m loosing a colony or head here and there and as a last resort I’m nuking the tanks bacteria population with antibiotics ….
as it is: lots of cipro and abc dip threads for reference

Again, only if the evidence points that way …and I’m on,y bringing this up as a possibility
