In terms of the point-of-connection from the pump to the inlet plumbing, and from the pump to the outlet plumbing, it looks like you would have a hard time getting the Eheim Compacton 600 to work in the same manner as the Eheim universal 600 (1048).

Yes, you are correct. I just read that it’s more of an internal pump than external. Thanks for the help.

In photo two I know why they have tape on the o-rings, yeah I did not and I have lost my o-rings, does anybody know where to get some, or know the size? I went to my local HD store and bought a bunch of random sizes that are not correct.

That’s going to be a tough one. Here’s a Hail-Mary pass: Order the large O-ring from Marine Depot, and chop it up— chop little tiny pieces and fit them in the small O-ring groove. It’s not under tremendous pressure— so hopefully if you crank the piece down tight, the most it might leak is a couple of micro-drops which eventually salt creep will seal.
