Unbreakable Air Bubble?

What type of sorcery is this? This is what I ASSUME to be an air bubble but it won’t pop. It’s been under this rock for an entire week. Unfortunately outside of my finger I can’t maneuver anything down there to dig at it.

Any thoughts? My assumption is that it isn’t actually trapped air since I can’t get rid of it.

Air bubbles cannot "pop" underwater (otherwise, where would all the gas go? The molecules do not instantly dissolve into the water), and they are merely trapped under the rock. You should try to blast them away with the swish of your hand; leaving air bubbles within rocks can dry out sessile aquatic organisms they come in contact with.
