Sorry this is kinda the wrong form but because it's about fish disease I thought it would be best to put here.
So... I have this agale clip that had been in my tank when it caught ich/velvet and I decided to go fallow. Pulled the clip out probably a week or two later. It sat out drying almost the entire fallow and then some (78+ days) but was never cleaned. I soaked it in some fresh water and even weak h202 soaks for over a week before putting it in the tank again, but again never scrubbed it clean so it had alage etc in the cracks.
So I am probably just being super paranoid at this point. But what do people think the liklyhood is that ich/velvet could survive that dry time and freshwater visit? From reading it seems the cyst is almost indestructible and so I am curious if I messed up...
