I had to put silicone around the plastic trim in the inside of the water to prevent it from leaking over, my new Maxspect gyre pump was doing this. So I siliconed around the plastic trim to prevent the leaks. Some of it got wet from the seawater. Should i be worried? Any chance of it lowering alkalinity? I notice a strong vinegar smell. Diatom growth? Thanks.

Thanks a lot Randy. I got worried. By the way that's how my salinity got so low...
