Under gravel filter material?

Where can I find that plastic material you put down for an under gravel filter. It's usually white. I'm looking for a red color.

egg crate. its used to dim/defuse lighting. check with a lighting supply.

Are you asking about an under gravel filter...or something you can place under the gravel as you said under gravel filter which is the cheapest of fresh water filters.

If you use egg create you can paint it red. I assume you are not going to bury it.

Yes that undergravel egg crate stuff only in red...I want to use in for the bottom of my sump so I can't paint it.

I have seen it in white, black silver and gold according eplastics.com - they might be able to do a special order - but you would have 1000 lbs of egg crate

Im not sure why you can not paint it. I use egg create as a screen for my overflow and have used it for a screen in my sump. I always Paint_It_Black

I use rattle cans of Krylon Fusion. After it has dried all the VOC's are gone. Others have used it with no issues I know of. You can google it. Im sure there are threads here.
