I live in the Philly area which has an AWESOME coral scene. There are some corals that we have grown out and fragged so many times that they go for WAY chepaer than anywhere else, esp online E.G. rasta zoas, fox flames, utter chaos zoas, etc.

So our LFS and fellow reefers typically have awesome corals. But I did notice some corals tend to be underrated, IMO. There are a ton of awesome cyphastreas out there with amazing colors, cheap, and easy. Yet they barely sell. Ricordia mushrooms are the same here. They are cheap, easy, and have some amazing colors, but usually don't move like a hot acro would.. I would also add stylocoeniella 's to that mix. Such a beauty. Underrated I feel

Its all down to taste and trend essentially supply and demand, e.g. here in Aus a lot of people like Ricordia but they are very expensive and those that have them often try to frag them but don't sell. Essentially the supply is low and the demand is high but due to the price no one wants to buy them often. Eg I paid 300 for a orange ricordia with a 1 inch diameter
