What are some great eye catching corals that don't break the bank. Any sps, lps, polyps that really pop. I just lost a lot of expensive corals and have really been thinking if the latest and greatest are really worth it when there are some great looking corals that don't cost a fortune.

Some that I can think of would be the red planet, green slimmer, original mummy eye, dragon eye zoas, even an orange digi will catch your eye from across the room. What do you guys think?

Cornbred's Bubble Gum Monster and WorldWideCorals Pink Sapphire chalices. Both are around $40-$10 an eye and grow crazy fast and look INSANE! Everyone that looks in my tank likes those the best, over the couple hundred per eye dollar chalices.

Whammin Watermelon zoas look sick as a colony, I DO NOT CARE if the price is -$5.00 per polyp they still look awsome!

For sps, I still like the giant caps that you see in some fish tanks now.. Im talking basketball size cap colonies.

Mushrooms in general, regardless of color. They look neat as a colony.

Setosa and seasons greetings are pretty reasonable now and definitely eye catching. Also agree on the ORA offerings mentioned amd would add pearlberry, green birdsnest and bird of paradise.

+1 KLR on the whammin' watermelons i love those too, even if they're cheap, the radioactive dragon eyes are always bright and cheap as dirt also. cheap acans are also really cool

Thanks for the suggestions everyone keep them coming. I want my tank to really pop but I want to do it with inexpensive corals just to show that you can have a nice tank without spending big money.

Hollywood Stunner, when its in a large colony it looks great cause the center can darken under leds and you can get a small frag for $5-10. I just got myself a frag.

No name sps
these were very inexpensive frags (10-20 bucks) and turned out great,
