I have a little 5 gallon tank that I want to put on my dresser and I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for what to put underneath my tank to protect the wood? I don't have much room, so I can't get a stand. It's been on an old bookcase at my mom's for years but this dresser is a bit more fancy and I don't want to ruin the wood. Any ideas??

This may help, although I have not used this product:

I’d use a yoga mat. Cut larger than the tank footprint so water can’t get trapped underneath as easily. If you spill water you can easily lift the mat and wipe it up. I’d say damaging the wood slightly is inevitable on a long enough timeline unless the surface is covered completely.
