I see dinos, I see diatoms... but what are these worm like creatures? They seem quite restless whipping around. Any ideas?

Hello Jay.

Here are some additional pictures in case they help give a better idea. If they are the free living roundworms (nematodes?), should I worry? I hadn't seen them in any other sample in the past two months.

Thanks.

Those do look like nematodes. While some nematodes are parasitic in fish, they are always internal, so if you see any living outside of a fish, they are harmless.
