Hi everyone, don't be too harsh with the opinions just trying to be hopeful here. I run a 275l (70ish gal) with a nyos 120 Skimmer rated up to 500l. I have the offer to pick up a free 650l or 130g tank and stand. I know all my other gear is over the top and can handle the upgrade . Will running a undersized skimmer be that bad. I don't plan on adding twice the stock I have so won't be changing the bioload too much. What's everyone's thoughts or experience?

You will be perfectly fine with that skimmer. Personally I would rather have an undersized than oversized skimmer on low bioload tank.

The size of the skimmer is strictly dependent upon your desired water quality. Some systems run without any skimmer at all. If you are understocked, you don't need a huge skimmer :)
