I have a 90 gl tank, that in the future, will house few fish and plenty of zoas, hammers, frogspawn etc.
I'm thinking of adding a roller filter, but thinking my current skimmer might be to big.
I have a decent sized chamber for fuge that I plan to add some chaeto.

I'm kinda worried about removing to much or to little (too much nutrients or bottoming out).

I can get my hands on a tunze 9004 dc, but afraid it's to small. Or I can run with my skimz sm163 which might be to big, and won't skim much (or remove to much).

Any recomendations? Will the tunze 9004 be way to small, along with a clarisea sk3000 and cheato?

Go with Ice Cap K2-50 or even K-1
They look and run like a full sized skimmer and you will only be happy with performance

I'm not sure where in EU I might find one.
I was specifically asking about the tunze 9004 dc, as I can get one almost free. But might be to small?

I'm by no means an expert but considering exactly the same setup as you for my coming 90g tank. My thinking: saves me some money, and you can always add more later, or maybe it is a larger lamp for the refugium that solved issues in the future? And if I need to upgrade, maybe the 9004 can be used as backup or for some other tank. And I found this video of a large tank with a little tunze 9004:

Considering you could just run a good fuge and not need a skimmer at all, I think adding an undersized skimmer to an already effective refugium would work ok. It just about finding proper balance of import/export.

True. Being new to this, I overthink everything. I also like to be on the safe side, since I have no idea on how much 'import' I'll end up with and how efficient the various 'exports' methods are.
Kinda looking at oversizing everything, so I can adjust by turning stuff off or down.
