So I need some assistance. I’m ramping up power copper in my qt. I need to do a water change. At the moment I have 9 gallons of water in my qt and 6 ml of power copper in the water. If I take out 4.5 gallons of water do I add 3ml of power copper to the fresh saltwater?

It almost comes out to be 1ml per gallon of copper power. So with 1.5ml it should put you a little over 1.75 with 2.0 being the new norm. I’ve just followed these guidelines as well.

I’m not done ramping up yet, so I’m just trying to replace the power copper I remove when I do my water change. So basically if I remove half the water from the tank I replace half the power copper, correct?

Yes that is correct. Also always pretreat your freshly mixed SW before adding back to tank!
