Been working on this for a while now and finally got it working. Pretty fun to be able to watch from anywhere. Here's the link to check it out. http://fishcam-2.click2stream.com/
A few years back I tried it with a USB camera and a program on my computer but it slowed my computer down and never worked on a mobile. Now with IP cameras and the help with angelcam.com I can do it.

That is pretty cool.

I have been looking at this but have not wanted to spend the money. Also requires more work to get it online.

The issues I see with that camera is its not an IP camera and you can't put a wide angle lens on it. You could connect it to a security DVR and remote login youself but that's pretty involved. My tank is located at my business so I am not always there so I've actually got a PTZ IP camera in my equipment room I can remotely see and check on things. Set the fish can up so now I can remotely see inside the tank at night.

Yea I have not found submersible ip yet. I might build one like yours until I do. For when I go out of town. But I don't want that in my tank all the time lol maybe if I canopy

You can get different lenses for them. If you wanted to make that camera IP you would need an encoder. Using an encoder is how we integrate analog cameras to a network based system.
That camera is most likely a box camera that is inside a sealed tube,

no doubt.....just stating facts, you said it couldn't be done not it's more $$$$. If you were trying to do it you could and probably fairly inexpensively if you wanted to but def not under $100.
