Uneven PAR laterally across the tank?

hello all:

I currently have one Orphek Icon and two OR3 bars over a 48”x24”x30” tank.

Curious if others have noticed a discrepancy in PAR distribution laterally across their tanks. I don’t think it’s a major deal but it makes me wonder how that’s possible given the light is held level. Surely water movement plays some part in that, random thought of mine this morning.

Water movement, rock placement, etc. can have an impact.

I want to say it was around 50 PAR left to right, I’m not overly concerned about that, it’s good to know the distribution. Although to think that nature has even PAR reasons across the same section of reef would be bananas.
