I recently lost a rosy scale fairy wrasse that has been in my tank close to 3 years. No signs of disease. I would be led to believe internal parasites are the cause. None of the other fish seem to have any problems, and 3 other wrasse in tank- yellow coris, mystery, and cleaner. No new fish added recently, and all other fish introduced to the tank went through a 30 day QT with 2 rounds of prazipro. Could the rosy scale just have died from old age? Any input? Thanks

Prazipro doesn't necessarily treat "all" internal parasites. To get a more comprehensive treatment for possible internal parasites, we recommend Prazi + metroplex or General Cure which has both. Here's some info on "internal problems" for you to consider:

The affected fish showed no symptoms explained in any of those except for weight loss. It was always a good eater, and ate good the day before I found it. I did notice it loved to eat bristle worms when I would move something in the tank, and one came up it was full on. I have noticed aptasia lately, I wonder if it was eating them as well. I really hate losing fish that have made it through QT, and especially ones that have been in my care for 3 years. I will research general care just in case. Thank you for response.

I do watch for stringy poop in QT, and check for anything that looks off before adding to DT, but theres always the chance.
