Unexplained Lifeform

Anyone know what this critter is or looks like ?
I have not introduced anything in my tank for at least 2 months but it looks strange. Its moving on my glass ?
Its approx 10mm wide

Nasty that’s what. I have a who life supply of them.

Asterina stars, they appear EVERYWHERE. Any piece of mature live rock and they will be in the tank. They breed like it’s going out of fashion too, I have 1000s of them and they keep appearing. People say they settle down in numbers but my guys are just rising in numbers every day, first it was 10 then it was 100 now it’s 10000s

I have them... I like them. They eat algae and look cute. I see many out at night but only a few during the day.

I actually think those little guys are so cute. I was able to actually borrow a harlequin from my LFS. Just left a deposit for the price of the shrimp and got 80% back when I returned him healthy. Worth a shot if more appear, explained what was happening and the Owner pulled one out of their massive display tank and hit me with the “heres what I’m going to do for you.”
