And it feels good!

This was the only piece that was showing signs and I couldn't for the life of me figure out why. So I just left it alone and things have turned out. Sometimes it's the little victories :)

Yea I usually don't do anything if it's just one sps that stn.
But once I waited too long to frag to save and other time I frag too soon and stn stopped
Nice looking frag
What is it?

Well done. Those will encrust a new base faster than they will grow back over all of that old dead skeleton. If you feel like they can handle it, I would cut them down and remount them.

Definitely a good feeling when things turn back in the good direction!! Awesome!

Was it rtn or just stn? Tips or base?
You know... I just realized that I don't know the difference. What makes it rapid as opposed to slow? Lol there's the obvious answer, but at what point does it make the change? This didn't happen overnight, but it did only take a few days. The tissue necrosis spread a good bit further than what it was in the first picture, and it was all base up.

I don't know why, but I never trusted myself to clip a frag. I've re-mounted them on a plug, and I've fragged them further on accident lol, but I guess I'm afraid of clipping too much and killing it or not enough and having to do it again. @nashorn, I actually don't know what it is , but I bet @Battlecorals could answer that! :)

Rapid is literally rapid, within hours you’ll start to see flesh peeling away.
Most of the time, nothing can be done at this point; that’s why people frag what they can

Ahh, well in that case it was definitely STN. Thanks for the info!
