i have placed it in a nice sunny spot but he decided to move inside a rock hole in the bottom of the tank. Stretches out during the day and goes back in the night. Not much i can do bout that i imagine, she got there like the day after i've put it in the tank and never moved since then. I've seen she has the mouth and tentacles looks deflated (as in the photo) open and was getting worried.They do a lot changing in size. Yours looks good to me. Make sure it has enough light. They need light more than target feeding. I haven't fed mine directly in a couple years but they get a lot of light and food when I feed fish.
It is normal for them to attach inside a rock and stretch out.
