The first picture is when its happy but unfortunately it don't look like this to often..the second is how it looks a lot of most of the time...i tried moving it off the sand but that didn't do anything...the third is of the little one and it looks like that all day unless the lights are out or a crab walks on it

Unfortunately formerly easy to keep indos. Suffer from viral and bacterial infections and now only rarely live in captivity.

I also read someware that they are harvesting the indo's in deeper water so you need to acclimitise the elegance ,... Shaded very little light to slowly in light... On the bottom. Hope this helps...

So far, Mike it looks pretty good. The key is keeping it that way.... Keep us updated. I got a new one this week also. It was delivered with the bag and only a tiny bit of water in it... Grrrr!!!

Ok I just chunk my elegance in back yard a week ago. I found a huge tick like bug thing the size of a dime living in the hard shell underneath I seen it moving wene lights went out I had to tear elegance just to get it out I should of took a picture it was nasty but it burrowed all the way to the center of mouth from the back of the coral. ( it was a little elegance). I noticed the elegance seemed adjitated it wasn't opening right but I got the beast out of it but I chunked it anyway s cause I didn't want little baby's from that thing getting to my chalices I dip all my corals to but it didn't seem to matter

Did you take a picture of it? Mine has holes in the outer shell, but they are tiny. I made a rock cove to shield mine from the light and water flow. I'll see if that works. If it doesn't, I don't what else to do. It would probably do well in my seahorse tank, but I wouldn't dare try it in there because it wouldn't be good for the seahorses. I'm feeding it pieces of silversides and whatever else I'm feeding my corals. I hope it survives..... I have a feeling this one came up from the deep.... Wish I had know it before I got it! Seems futile to take them out of the deep if they can't survive in a home aquarium... bad practice for a well know vendor! Mine has 12 mouths...
