Hey guys!
I just got a green bubble coral last week. I love the way they look. Under the advice of my LFS, I did a dip on him first, and then plopped him in the tank.
Not happy.
He is in a low flow, maybe too low of light area. Bubbles are deflated, mouth is looking kinda floppy...

So, the rest of my tank looks totally happy. Open corals, happy fish, balanced water...

Did I hurt the coral with the dip?
Is it in shock?
Can I fix it?

What’s ur water parameters. These coral need low to moderate flow and lower light.

I will double check the water- honestly everything else
looks so happy I didn’t think that would be it-
And it is in a low flow low light area— maybe it is just in shock?
Either way, I will go check the water

One week seems like a long time for a coral to sulk after a dip IMO, but if your other corals look great then perhaps the Bubble is in shock & needs more time to adjust. Maybe give it a few more days and if you don't see any improvements you might want to move the coral to a different location and see how it responds.

Just out of curiosity what exactly did you dip the coral in?
