I have a colony of armor of god zoas. They were doing really good then were upset for a while. now it seem the skirts on them are about gone. What does this mean? Are they just not open all the way? Will they grow back if they are gone?

The skirts are not that big i will have to take a new pic tomorrow

Looks to me that they are not open all the way. How long have they been in your tank?

Been in the tank a long time. Flow hasent been not much my power was taken out by a storm

No film they did expel like black stuff couple weeks ago. But i dont think there is a film

The black stuff is ''poop'' I'm assuming. Have you changed your bulbs lately?

No been running reef breeders led about a year. Ill also talk a more up to date pic when i get off work

I know for a fact the AOG love high light. Mine reach if I keep them under 200par. Try moving them up closer to the light and see what happens. I have some in my SPS tank under 350 par and they look great.

I would be concerned with them, I would move them up a little bit though. Looks like there stretching a bit.

My lights are turned down. I will turn them up some and raise these zoas and see
