i bought this days ago and i noticed the intake siphon is quite gaping...is this normal?

I can see the insides of mine from time to time. No issues with that.

5 days now and exactly the same like that. i can totally see the insides. im quite confused,what exact species is this?

It's a Crocea. That's just how the inlet siphons look.
