Hi i am looking for suggestions (if there are any) for fish that are happy at around 66°f year round. Also corals/inverts and anything else would be appreciated.

I have assumed so far that the answer is no... but ill ask anyway lol.... i cant just take regular frags from my dt and acclimate them to cold water right?

Also i would like to keep it open top but can put on lid. I can provide any sort of flow/lighting/food requirements. I culture phyto, brine and rotis right now and am slowly building a farmable pod population. Tank is barebottom but i can add sand if need be.

Thanks for any help

No I don’t know of any tropical coral and acclimate to a cold water system. 72 is about low as coral can go.

Forgot about him! I was just looking at one earlier today as well!

Catalina goby is worth a look

Edit , guess my page hadn't updated lol.

Pseudomugil Cyanodorsalis, or 'blue eyes' might work. I kept a half dozen in a 1 gallon around 70F, they have short lifespans but are hardy little fish and you could pack 20 or more into a 10 gallon tank, lol... Technically a brackish fish, but acclimate very easily to proper saltwater.

Other brackish fish, like Mollies might be alright at lower temperatures as well....
