I just saw this unidentified organism on the glass of my tank.
Does anyone have any ideas of what it is?

Do you have any other pics that show it opened up or in a different position ? I’ve never seen this before guessing it’s a type of sea slug of some sort

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

Do you have any pics of it under whiter light, and can you give a description of it? (For example, does it have a shell? Is it hard or soft? Does it move/open and close/expand and contract?)

From the pics provided, I'm torn, because texturally it looks like it has a hard shell, but it also looks like a dying anemone to me.

Thanks for all the input. It's about 2 inches long, all soft and doesn't change much in shape or size. It does move a little bit but not much. I was wondering if it might be a dying anemone... I do have 4 bubble tips in my tank.

Never seen a dying nem do that. Always a first I guess.

Personally no idea, not a clue. Scoop and find out!

I think dying anemone is the most plausible answer. I see a part at the bottom that looks like where the oral disc and tentacles would be.

I will scoop it and keep it in a separate location and see what it does. Thanks for the help. I will let you all know what it turns out to be.

Yeah, this is the closest I know:
