Unidentified Pod?

Last night I saw one little free floating creature this morning hundreds of them we were thinking they were pods but maybe baby hermits they are round with a little tail and float around. I can try to attach a picture later.
Any help would be great thanks.

Sounds like isopods if they have little antennas on both sides and round/pill bug shaped body’s.

No they are free floaters, although I do have those already.

Nope not them either. They are tiny balls a 1/4 size of a pea and have a tiny tail that they kick around to swim they are also striped black and light grey.

Possibly. They are a little smaller and not white though.

Strange, they're all gone now I guess they got eaten up.

I figured it out they were baby hermit crabs.
