Does anyone know what this critter is? And do we need to kill it.

Currently in the tank we have a:
Pulsing Zena
Monti
Zoas
Toadstool
Hammer
Elegance
BTA

Its a pest. I would take the frag out of your system and try ad remove the coral and toss the plug. These thing multiply like crazy.
 
Aiptasia. Definitely bad.

It looks like it is on a frag plug, so you could take the plug out and put glue over the Aiptasia to kill it.

If you can't, or don't want to risk getting glue on the coral, you could always buy some Aiptasia X. Just squirt it into the mouth of the Aiptasia, and it will die.

For a natural solution, you can get a Peppermint Shrimp. Juat make sure it is the specific species Lysmata Wurdemanni. Other species could wind up eating corals. But Lysmata Wurdemanni won't eat corals.
