Unique 36G Tank

So thinking hard about restarting my 36G tank. It was our first tank and made a few mistakes that have proved hard to come back from. We have our 90 up and running and it's thriving but we just really want to drain the small tank and start over. Any ideas on unique species to keep in a 36G? Open to all suggestions. Even freshwater suggestions. We're thinking Dwarf Lion but not sure.

may I ask, what problems did you experience with your 36? Have you come up with solutions for those? What was/is on your wish list that are incompatible with your 90? What is going on in the 36 now? do you Quarantine? How long did the 36 seem ok before the problems started, how old is your 90? May good fortune follow you in all your endeavors!

Well I messed up and overstocked, rookie mistake. And got ich probably a month into stocking because of it. All fish died except a clown and YWG. They're the only OG's now. Also have Cyano running rampant. I treated with Ich X and seemed to clear up ich but scared to put anything else in this tank. It's like we cannot catch a break. It's about 6 months old. Ready to just restart now that we know much more about the hobby.

what will you do with the clown and Goby? I did not get much cyano with my first tank (30 g bowfront) that had a lot of flow.
I am seeing some in my second tank (75) that has less flow. I am new so i observe a lot. I understand the desire to start fresh. Go forth! seems to be good advice for reefers.
