I have now been using a chill solutions chiller for about 2 years now and couldn’t be happier.
It uses what they call thermoelectric technology. All I know is it’s great and thus wanted to share in case anyone else was looking for a less expensive option to the more expensive chillers. Best of all the thing is only about 5” x 5”!
I can only speak for my experience and my tank is only 16 gallons. Yet without it my tank always raised up over 83 even with fans. One issue is in such a small tank i use 2
Pumps and have 4 powerheads in the tank.
Despite all above I’m now able to keep my temp at 77 like I want. I also happen to love the ink bird I recently bought that works my heater and chiller together as another great find.
Just wanted to share in case anyone else needed help but didn’t want to spend too much for traditional chillers and also preferred a quiet and small option. I’m surprised I haven’t heard much about this chiller before and VERY happy I gave it a try.
